Next stop: Lunch!
We’ve just spent the last couple of hours fortifying SuperVegan’s restaurant finder with more vegan-friendly locations.
Fans of the West Village Red Bamboo will be happy to know that the restaurant now has a Brooklyn location. A Red Bamboo representative has informed me:
In Ft. Greene we will eventually have two floors, plus extensive outside dining (sidewalk and deck). There are also two full bars and options for private parties. We are really excited to finally be able to accomodate large groups and private parties. The design is also something to talk about— most materials are of a sustainable nature.
Though the grand opening isn’t scheduled until April 26, the restaurant will be open for select hours this and next weekend. The NYC Vegan Lunch Bunch is gathering there tomorrow (Sat 4/1) at noon.
We’ve added several Manhattan Ethopian restaurants: Meskerem: UWS, Meskerem: Midtown, Meskerem: West Village, and Awash.
We’ve added three spots located in the Clinton-Washington/ Bed-Stuy area: Outpost coffee lounge, a Senegalese restaurant called Joloff , and Caribbean take-out joint Healthy Vegetarian & Seafood Restaurant.
We’ve added SOY and Tiny’s Giant Sandwich Shop, both of which are located in the LES.
We’ve also added all five locations of the local veg-friendly chain Pita Grill: UWS, Carroll Gardens, Midtown West, East Village, and UES.
Happy eating!
