Looks like Whole Earth Bakery & Kitchen’s lease reprieve might be over. After a three-month extension, to March 31, Friedman Management wants the bakery to vacate the premises.

Enter a number of local politicians and the League of Humane Voters of New York City, who want to keep the small business in the neighborhood, where it’s been for 15 years. LOHV-NY has helped Whole Earth garner about 3,000 signatures in an attempt to persuade the landlord to renew its lease, and a rally is being planned for February.
