Will “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” Be the Ultimate Animal testing Revenge Fantasy?

Looks like the new Planet of the Apes movie may have more in common with The Secret of NIMH than Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, which I guess is the movie it’s ostensibly remaking.

Not only do we get to ogle James Franco, we get to watch lab apes smash their vivisectionist captors. Good times. (I hope they get the computer animated apes looking a little more plausible, though … I find the CGI in this preview pretty unimpressive.)
