If you don’t have plans yet for the fourth day of Thanksgiving this year (that would be Sunday, November 27), may I suggest you roll yourself down to Thankful: A Family-Style Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by Vérité Catering in Gramercy.
The menu features such delights as “roasted seitan with cornbread stuffing and strawberry cranberry chutney” and “baked macaroni and cheese with shiitake bacon crumbles”. There’s a number of gluten-free options, and a cash bar. And since it’s family style, this is a good opportunity for overeating.
There will be a raffle benefiting Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt-a-Turkey project with prizes including a Cri de Coeur handbag, a cooking class party with Vérité, and Adidas by Stella McCartney.
Tickets are $25 for food only, or $60 for V.I.P. which gets you unlimited drinks and a goodie box. Here’s a link for tickets, the full menu, and all the details.
Or, you and a friend can go for free if you win our little contest here. To enter, write to info@supervegan.com with subject line “Thankful contest” and include your name in the message body. A lucky winner will be chosen at random sometime after noon (NYC-time) on Friday, November 11.
