Come and meet Julie!
Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary has completed the much needed paving of its road and parking area, so after much ado the local council has granted the group permission to open its doors to the public. Yay!
They’re planning to open with a bang on Saturday, September 9 from 11am to 4pm. The event will feature sanctuary tours, music by rocker Joy Askew, good times with the puppets of Arm of the Sea, and an ol’ fashioned Veg-E-Que.
To pull this off, all hands are needed on deck. Can you help out a bit with either food purchase, prep and/or “personing” the food table? Email Jenny to volunteer yourself or to find out more details on how you can help.
If you can’t make it out for the grand opening, be sure to visit soon thereafter. Visiting season ends October 31!
