Paradise for college-bound vegans?
PETA2 recently recognized Yale University as the fourth most vegetarian friendly college in the USA. Yesterday’s New Haven Register ran an article profiling Yale’s extensive vegan options.
I’ve never been to Yale, but this article nearly had me drooling.
The vegan papaya, falafels, bean tacos, and Portobello fajitas are alluring meat-eaters and vegans alike.“Last night we ran out of the vegan dish first,” said Catherine Jones, an executive chief.
Of course, PETA2 ranked New York University number seven, and I can’t say I was terribly impressed when I went there (aside from the monthly vegan night, of course). Anyone know if Yale is really this good?

on #There’s such a thing as non-vegan papaya? I don’t wanna know … Also, props to all the schools that beat out Yale, especially the University of Puget Sound with their Vegan Cheeseburger, Vegan Biscuits & Gravy and Vegan Field Roast Sloppy Joe! All that plus no Ivy League blowhards!

on #Well, at least the article doesn’t refer to fish as a vegetable.
