Anyone ever "drop out of" veganism temporarily?Sun Oct 18, 2009 4:18 pm |

Having been vegan for about 2.5 years, I recently took a few weeks "break" - motivated primarily by a frustration of failure to get where I want to be with my diet, fitness level, etc.
For about 2 weeks, I went pescetarian - and have already realized that my heart is with veganism and returned to the fold. (Mea culpa, seriously.)
But was wondering if anyone else had ever slipped, or temporarily gone back to a non-vegan diet? (Not talking about the "vegetarians who eat fish" phenomenon - rather, vegans who honestly switched back temporarily, or had a crisis of "faith?")
Thanks...! (I'm the only vegan I know, so there's not much input out there...) |

| A few years back I did drop out. Took about a week and decided I didn't feel right not being a vegan anymore lol. Once it becomes a habit it's near impossible to break! |
