  • Thank you, SuperVegan, for introducing me to this amazing cart. Friendly Thiru is a true NY gem and his food is outstanding, not to mention ridiculously high quality, generously portioned, and extremely affordable. I love Red Bamboo, but will henceforth have a hard time bypassing NY Dosas to get there.

  • Fantastic! Restaurant-quality food for a fraction of the price, and it's fascinating to see the skill that goes into making it. We enjoyed ours in the adjacent park (after moving away from the drug dealers...) and will make a bee-line for this cart if we return to NY. I hope NY Dosas goes from strength to strength and maybe opens a few franchises!

  • This dosa man is awesome. I called him on the phone, asking about dosas and what time he would be there today/if he was there (suggest doing this) and he said he'd save a dosa! (in the end, I think I shoulda mentioned it was me when I came there) but anyway, he was super friendly, and indeed he accomodates you.

  • Amazing. I stop by this guy on my way to work (Red Bamboo) for a quick bite. He is super friendly, and the food is amazing and cheap. If only he would open/train other carts!

  • These dosas are delicious (esp. the masala dosa)! There can be a line around lunch time, but it's definitely worth waiting for. (If you go too late, sometimes he runs out of various things.)
