- I stopped by here for some dessert and it was fantastic. It was some sort of pudding that was banana based. All the ingredients were organic and fresh. The pudding was very similar to ice cream. They let my date and I try all four flavors. I went with the cinnamon banana and she went with the pineapple banana. It was very tasty and refreshing. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

- Friendly staff but the food is HORRIBLE. I've been a vegan for years and this type of vegan food perpetuates the stereotype of flavorless green things being the staple of vegan's diets.

- The staff is incredibly friendly and informative. They will let you sample anything, as much as you want, before you make a selection. I ordered a coconut soup, which was delicious; I've also had a number of their "pates" and I cannot recommend the chai coconut drink enough- it's liquid gold from the gods! Plus unlike Pure, this place is affordable. It's got a cafeteria "atmosphere" but if that keeps the price down, far be it from me to complain!

- Everything I've gotten here has been tasty. Keep in mind they give you generous portions on the salad items. The only thing so far are the soups - the flavor is a bit too intense for me. I've tried a couple of their desserts and they are really yummy! Haven't tried the ice cream yet but that will be my next trip! The staff are very helpful friendly people too!

Review by raw guy on June 29, 2006:
- This place is the absolute best place for raw vegan food in NYC. Excellent salads, nori rolls, soups and frozen fruit puddings (including Durian). The finest coconut water and various juice blends. So comfortable and reasonable.
