Notes:
The vegan dogs (which, by the way, are custom-made in a Buddhist temple in Queens) are cooked on a separate grill and there are several vegan topping options. For some reason there are no fries, but $4 will get you a hot dog and a drink. The late weekend hours make this a good sobering up spot.

- A friend and I were out late on a friday night, drunk as skunks. She suggested this place. (I am a huge veggie hot dog fan....and quite picky) I was blown away by the selection (they will gladly tell you which are vegan). My favorite has cilantro relish. Really unique, upbeat, and fun atmosphere....but might be a little over the top for some people. I've been back many times since.

- I was in the city today and remembered about Dash Dogs so I stopped in and got two dogs and a Dr. Pepper. I was really looking forward to trying a homemade vegan hot dog. I ordered and watched the cook pull out a package of Yves hot dogs and cut it open. She did cook it on a separate grill and it was pretty good, but it was $8.00 for two Yves hotd dogs (one with chili) and a Dr. Pepper.
Be warned that their dogs are not anything special, but if I was drunk, hungry and on Rivington I would stop back.
