Notes:
This seasonal restaurant promotes itself as an "eco-eatery". The kitchen is run by solar power, food waste is composted, and they purchase food from local farmers. They even have a bike powered blender and will give you $1 off the price of your smoothie if you blend it yourself. While they still serve meat (a verifiable eco-nemesis), this season they've added a few more vegan items to their menu, making eating there a possibility.
Habana Outpost hosts a weekend outdoor market of goods from local artists, cultural events, and kids' activities.

Review by Olivia Lane on July 12, 2006:
- This is a great place to go and check out all the beautiful, artsy Black Fort Greene lesbians (and some other cute folks too, whatever you're into). They've updated their menu with lots more veggie options. While there, I enjoyed a very tasty and very strong homemade frozen mojito. I haven't eaten anything yet, but it looks okay.
