- Great little place to hit up before/after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. You basically choose a kind of rice (black, red, brown, sticky, etc), and something to go over it (like veggie meatballs, baked black beans, lentils, ratatouille, etc). They also have a pretty deep selection of Ciao Bella sorbets. It's kind of simple food but well worth the price. We got an appetizer, two drinks, two rice bowls, and a dessert for $35! That's about fast-food style prices but with way better atmosphere, sit down service, and a nice outdoor seating area. We liked: veggie meatballs, dim sum dumplings, thai black rice with edamame, chocolate and raspberry sorbets. Weren't crazy about: baked black beans, the coffee.
