- blusuburbansky, I had EXACTLY the same issue with my Sweet & Sara inquiry; it was oddly as though I was suddenly speaking another language. Attention Westerly: stock Sweet & Sara vegan marshmallows asap: all four flavors!

- Surprisingly vegan. Tons of options for pre-made foods, for example vegan chicken OR vegan turkey salad sandwich! It's great to have a choice again, haha....way in the back they have a dessert fridge filled with raw/vegan desserts (mostly "cheesecakes" it seemed). Some items were even on sale for a stock-up kind of price which is nice to see. Cramped aisles, especially in the supplement section. Amazing selection of hard-to-find vegan cheeses, meats, and other alternatives. They even carry the new tree-nut gourmet cheeses I've been hearing so much about...but at $9 for a 3-inch wheel! Still, I appreciated the availability. Could have spent all day in there! Staff was also super friendly & helpful, but no one seemed to understand when I was asking for "sweet & sarah" products. Ho hum.

- This place is packed with vegan goodies, you just have to know what you're looking for since it's not all vegan & there isn't a dedicated vegan section. The staff is pleasant, but not as familiar with vegan products as your run-of-the-mill food-obsessed vegan, so sometimes it's best to just browse until you find what you're looking for. You're sure to find some other good stuff along the way.

- I was in town on business and had used this website to find vegan food near my hotel. I came to Westerly and bought a vegan chicken salad sandwich along with some Tings and juice for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich was delicious! I devoured it. It was so nice to see clearly marked vegan food sitting there ready for purchase-- they had at least four vegan sandwiches to choose from. They do have real meat sandwiches there so you do have to be discerning, but it was wonderful just the same. It had a surprising amount of merchandise (vitamins, chips, seafood counter) for a relatively small market, but I didn't have time to go through all of the aisles. If I lived in the city I would definitely be a regular!
