- Awash is okay, it's more Eritrean in flavor (I know not that much of a difference) but I thought Meskerem and Queen of Sheba were better. Good if you're in the area and not much to choose from.

- Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for some simple, delicious & filling Ethiopian food. The ambiance is really quite standard - the place was clean & "ethnically" decorated - nothing to write home about but definitely not a liability, unless you are looking for the perfect backdrop to your perfect moment of loving bliss. The food, however, is amazing. So delicious. I'm not vegan or even vegetarian, but all I had at Awash was vegan food and it was really a cut above other Ethiopian places I've been to in the city. A very nice place to go for a low-key meal.
