  • I love Bushbaby! The owner is supercool as are all the employees and it's a great space to chill and relax. The music is always good but most importantly I have never been disappointed by the food here. Brunch is great as are the wraps...especially the Milton. The wait time has improved considerably and I always feel welcomed and happy here. For a vegan, this is probably the best option in Bed-Stuy for food and atmosphere.

  • the coffee here is not very good. i didn't bother getting a refill. i also had the vegan french toast, which was really soggy but tasted okay (mostly like vanilla extract). it did take a really long time for them to make it, though, and seemed a bit overpriced for two floppy pieces of bread. the man working there was very nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice (not super cramped, like many coffee shops). even though some improvements could be made, it's a nice place to hang out at in this neighborhood.

  • Come here to CHILL.
You may wait for that coffee. Longer than normal.
    BUT
relax. You have no where to be in a hurry because otherwise you wouldnt be at bushbaby. Its not a criticism. Its just the way it goes. The food is good and the coffee is good. They sell vegan treats and are very chill. I love this joint.

  • So I moved to Bed-Stuy in January and was not sure what to expect, then I found Bushbaby, which is around the corner from where I live. Great cozy shop. Really good coffee (I have not tried specialty drinks yet)and amazing Tuna Wraps. Really the tuna wraps are a must have. They also have several vegan brunch options. They also have a pretty good selection of dry goods (fruits and nuts) and teas for sale. The staff is friendly and attentive. I hope this place gets to expand their menu even more in the future. My only complaint is I wish they were open earlier so I could swing by in the morning before work.

  • I feel the need to write a new review now that I've been eating the great food here for over a year and a half since my last review. The food here is superb. There are several vegan breakfast and lunch wraps. My partner Jessica lives on the faux tuna Milton. I love the spicy Moroccan Chicken. We both love the many vegan brunch options, which includes vegan French Toast--what, what! The staff is superfriendly and attentive, although the service is anything but quick. Don't go here if you're in a rush and you'll be a happy camper.

  • I really enjoy the faux-tuna wraps at Bushbaby. The service is friendly, albeit a little slow (usually only one or two people working). They serve great coffee/espresso drinks and Vegan Treats cakes. Oh, and try their home brewed ice-tea, if you like southern-style sweet tea. Great place to hang out!

  • I have been visiting Bushbaby for a year now. This is the best coffee/tea cafe in the Boro. The food served is great also. I buy my ground coffee from them, and whenever I want to meet someone for business or leisure, this is the first place I suggest. Keep up the work.

  • I discovered this place just by accident one day and it has sinced become one of my favorite spots to visit. The food is exceptional as far as quick eats go. Having just started my new vegan lifestyle...this place was heaven sent. The staff makes you feel like you are extension of family - very warm and inviting. The colors and music offerings totally transport me every time I visit and chill at bushbaby. Definitely a spot to check out!!!

  • i bought a pound of kenyan coffee a day before xmas. it was great. a month later i bought another pound of coffee and it was totally weak - no caffeine and no flavor. The owner acted like i was crazy. I'm was excited to patronize an establishment in the neighborhood but i'm just going to go back to getting my coffee from manhattan. no specialty in the coffee at bushbaby:(

  • This place is owned by a vegan and a vegetarian. I haven't tried any sandwiches yet but I'm thrilled to have a place to score Vegan Treats cakes just a few blocks from my apartment. Viva Bed-Stuy!
