  • Oh how I miss the days when I lived around the corner from this gem. Veggie patty in a coco bread with a ginger beer chaser, all for a couple of bucks. Mmmmmmmmmm.

  • Christie's is great when you're in the mood. The veggie patties are veggie, not soy-chunk, so you're mostly getting cabbage and carrots rather than faux-meat. They're still totally filling, especially for the price.

I go here pretty often and they've always been exactly the same, so I'm not sure what mdhungry means by "hit or miss." They say the coco bread is vegan, and I've eaten it accordingly. A patty and coco bread combo (they slice the bread and put the patty inside) is the most calories you'll get anywhwere for $2.50.

  • Veggie patties are hit or miss. Does anyone know if the coco bread or callalloo loafs are vegan?
