- Went all the way to Harlem to try this place. Kinda dingy but wasn't looking for atmosphere. For some reason they only had four choices of prepared food in the whole restuarant, one type of bread and two desserts. The food was not spectacular, but still good. Maybe I went on a bad day.

- After walking ten blocks in the summer heat, I managed to stumble into Strictly Roots... It was worth it. Employees' were polite and interesting; I had a brief conversation while waiting for some food to come out [I'd come a bit early].
Despite a slight want for spices - very slight - the food was very filling, very tasty, and very cheap for the value. For eleven dollars, I got a blueberry smoothie and a plate of delicious food - green beans with onions, garlic, and pepper, a sort of bean stew, and a dumpling bigger than my fist. I'd not've minded a bit of kick, but the lack of that was my fault - I came in before they'd gotten the spicy stuff out.
I'm totally going back, and soon.

- This place rules! The food is cheap and very tasty. I definitely recommend the BAD MAN shake. It's got all kinds of tasty ingredients, including MOSS! It is literally one of the best shakes I've ever had. After my first shake, I went back the next day for another one. The atmosphere is nice too...it's got that small old skool cafe feel to it. Well worthy checking out.
