- I loved their cashew cheese! I got a grilled veggie pizza on whole wheat with cashew cheese and it was great. Not great enough to cost $17, but it's nice to have a vegan option.

- Thanks to a super vegan alert, I discovered this traditional pizzeria serves cashew cheese based vegan pizza. Whole wheat crust to boot (both at an extra cost). Caserta Vecchia has roots some 30 years deep in the pizza biz. The owner's grandmother opened a shop on Smith street back in 1954 and was considered the "Amelia Airheart of pizza". The cashew cheese is a nice touch, very subtle with more of a ricotta like texture than say, mozzarella.
