- I recently moved to Crown Heights and expected this restaurant to be as bad as the Indian offerings I had to put up with in Park Slope for the last seven years. NOT SO! Bombay Masala is now my favorite Indian restaurant in NYC. Super friendly staff who known when to check in. If I remember correctly, the Mulligatawny soup is never made with cream. Their food is consistently good, rather you eat in or take out.
