- I knew that my meal would be great when out came the gratis pickle and olive bowl, accompanied by a cilantro-y sauce. (I forgot to try it!). I gleefully consumed a side of the cauliflower salad -- lightly roasted and topped with a generous amount of tahini. I piled some on Mimi's whole wheat hummus. The thick pita arrived warm, and is definitely the best pita I've had in NYC. I imagine it's homemade (I forgot to ask). I also worked my way through a plate of the fava bean hummus until I had to give up and pass it on my dining companion.
Although there are no vegan brunch options, between the sides and a hummus plate, I was more than pleased with my late breakfast/early lunch.
If only Ditmas Park weren't sooooo faaar awaaayyyy.
