- Awesome food. Always worth the trip to where ever he is set up. Only wish there were more healthy options like this available on this side of the river.

- I discovered these guys at Parked. Extremely delicious (I tried the creole tofu sandwich, the portabella pesto on baguette, and the spicy tempeh wrap), albeit the sloppiest presentation ever. The two sandwiches' guts were sliding out before the first bite, and sauce and stuffing ended up everywhere. Maybe they need to wrap these things in larger sheets of butcher paper??
Anyway--very tasty, totally friendly, reasonably priced, relatively speedy. Also tried a donut but it was only ok. Actually it was good, for a pastry, but it just didn't taste like a donut because the consistency was too cake-like.
Next time I'm in Hoboken I'll definitely get lunch from these guys. But since me being in Hoboken happens never, I hope I see them around the city at some of this summer's outdoor events.

- I tried the Cinnamon Snail at Parked in Brooklyn, so I don't know how indicative of their usual quality my experience was. The event started at noon and we got there around 5, so the food had probably been sitting there a while.
Between my friend and I, we ordered the spinach pie, two miso teriyaki seitan sandwiches (the special of the week), an apple cider doughnut, a cinnamon snail, a pomegranate hibiscus ginger ale and a jasmine one. I thought the spinach pie was too salty and the sandwiches were decent, but my friend loved them both. She also loved the doughnut, but her husband said it was dry. I found the cinnamon snail dry, too. Both sodas were absolutely amazing, though (I wouldn't normally mention sodas, but I haven't seen that brand around NYC).
If I was sitting in a restaurant, I wouldn't have been overly impressed by the food, but it's pretty freaking amazing for a roach coach. If I lived or worked in Hoboken, I'd definitely go back to try a few things.
Also, the two people working in the truck were super friendly.

- I arrived at 3 p.m., three hours after the Gowanus Food Truck Festival began. Yes, it sucked to stand on line for a free event. Yes, the venue also was unsuitable for the event.
But I didn't wait more than 3 minutes for my food. My miso teriyaki seitan sub rocked. I preferred the raw goji bar over the strawberry glazed donut. Not much glaze to speak of. Some omnivores were totally ogling my sammich and were surprised a vegan place could make that.
I had a similarly pleasant experience when I showed up at their truck Friday afternoon in Hoboken.

- I love the Cinnamon Snail - the food is always amazing, and Adam is such a great guy. Everything is organic, vegan and so very good. Its amazing to get food of that quality from a truck at really reasonable prices. Adam has been a chef in top notch restaurants like Down to Earth, and those skills really show. You get to have a gourmet picnic overlooking Manhattan at food truck prices. SCORE!
My absolute favorite meal is the Creole Sandwich, which may be the best sandwich I've ever had - delicious spicy sweet tofu, sweet, smokey carmelized onions, creamy garliky aioli on peppery arugula with a perfectly crunchy baguette. Mmm. But don't pass up the salads or the raw pizza either, you'll be surprised at how wonderful they are.
The Cinnamon Snail has great pastries displayed from the simple (donuts, cinnamon snails and handpies) to fancysmancy mini pb cheesecakes, mini ganache bundts, and layer cakes (try the hazelnut mocha). You will definitely want to save room for dessert!
If you have a chance to have breakfast, the tofu burrito and the kale sandwich are a delicious savory start to the day. And if you want sweet - blue corn pancakes with pignoli butter are amazing.
I'm glad the truck is in Hoboken, in easy access to NYC - a wonderful place to hang with a view of Manhattan and eat delicious vegan and organic food. It is a welcome addition to Northern NJ and the NYC metro area, because there aren't enough wonderful places to eat well-priced, inventive, vegan food.

- This is the best thing to come to Hoboken since I've lived here. There's a good variety of breakfast, sandwiches, entrees, raw/live meals, and desserts. The food is delicious and far superior to what you'd expect given the prices.

- Mouth watering treats, and amazing sandwiches. Also great he provides wheat free and soy free options for sensitive folks. Well worth the trip from wherever you live to enjoy a nice vegan meal next to a gorgeous view of the Hudson river. Big thumbs up!
