- Saluggi's pizza combines perfectly thin, crispy crust, slightly sweet, smooth sauce, tons of fresh vegetable toppings, and Daiya vegan cheese. The awesome crust really brings Saluggi's to the top of the list for my favorite vegan pizza in the city (just barely beating out Pizza Plus in Park Slope). Downsides: They don't have any fake meat toppings available, and they can be a bit heavy on the Daiya, which masks the sweetness of the sauce.
