- This place really is insane...but also really cool.
First of all, order from the buffet line, but shoose wisely. Adam and I got the biggest dish, so that we could try 6 things.
winners: curried tofu (very good)
orange squash
eggplant
losers: mac and cheese (maybe the worst vegan mac and cheese ever)
okra rice
I think if I had chosen a little more carefully I would be happier.
Too much loud reggae music...but I guess thats just not my thing.

- I went there about 3 months ago an had the veggie burger with fries. I thought the burger tasted pretty bland and the fries weren't that great either. The buffet looked tantalizing though. If I ever decide to go there again, I'll give the buffet a try. The atmosphere was about what you'd expect from an old whitecastle turned into a vegan restaurant.

- this place is insane. i dont even know where to begin, one can either go for the burger fry thang which doesnt disappoint, or for a gigantic buffet stuffed full of carribean and soul food delights. a must for an nyc vegan!
